Organizational Technologies Management

The concept of Organizational Technologies Management stems from the work of Lafitte (1932), Wiener (1950) and Simondon (1989).
In the preface of Simondon’s book, Hart reminds us that this notion is rooted in social sciences. In the first issue of the MTO journal, Bonnet (2009) proposed the concept of "Organizational Technologies Management" and identified its scope: for this author, MTO is wide open to the various specialties that traditionally divide organization management scholars. MTO rearticulates management disciplines around their historical and common anchoring point which is the relationship to the technological object; MTO also encourages managerial and organizational innovation.

The MTO team organizes an annual conference and publishes the bi-annual MTO Journal.
