Complete diversity, accountability and performance, Montpellier Business School launches its 1st catalogue of short courses available in Paris, Lyon and Montpellier

Montpellier Business School meets the quality, accountability and efficiency requirements enshrined in the vocational training reform of 1st January 2015 by launching an offer of 132 short courses covering 15 different areas and led by 72 trainers meeting precise specifications. Beyond the prerequisites of this reform, it integrates its values through special financial conditions for job seekers, people with disabilities, seniors and very small businesses.

“In troubled economic times, it is our responsibility as a nationally and internationally-recognised higher education institution to be ever more useful to its homeland”, says Didier Jourdan, CEO of Montpellier Business School. “In light of the commitment of our stakeholders and notably all of our partner companies and of all our graduates who join with us, we wanted to cover the needs of the national economy on the strong points of innovation and entrepreneurship, to facilitate training in Lyon and Paris and to “think outside of the box” by being innovative and open to as many as possible”.

More specifically, “These courses are based on strong commitments to quality that favour a return on investment of time spent training, such as the precise characterisation of expectations prior to training, sending out educational prerequisites, the use during training of media used by each participant in a company, the implementation of innovative teaching promoting best practice sharing, interactivity, group work, or a delayed assessment within 2 months of the training”, says François-Xavier Théry, Director of Development and Businesses at Montpellier Business School. Led by a team of 72 trainers, rich in diversity, composed both of research-professors from Montpellier Business School and professional trainers or business leaders and business creators, and responding to precise specifications, this offer has a wide range of skills covering all the basics of administration and management, but also integrates highly innovative teaching approaches using laughter, gospel, improvisational theatre, art or sport, amongst other things”.

In addition to the AMBA-accredited Executive MBA programme, VAE (work experience) degree (Master’s and Bachelor’s) or certification programmes inter or intra-company, there is no doubt that this catalogue of short courses, which is the fruit of collective work, will quickly attract many participants, as well as all the companies with which Montpellier Business School has forged very strong partnerships.
