The 3rd StratMeUp has been launched! This year, it will bring together more than 600 students and 50 coaches, working for nearly 150 companies from the region

The StratMeUp project (formerly STRAT'INNOV LR) is part of the final year programme for Master’s students at Montpellier Business School. Their mission: using real problems, perform a free, customised strategic diagnosis with recommendations.

For its 3rd year running, the StratMeUp project has got off to quite a good start. More than 100 new companies have responded positively to the call for applications jointly orchestrated by Montpellier Business School, the Montpellier CCI (Chambres de commerce et d'industrie [Chambers of Commerce and Industry]), the SYNERSUD network, the agglomerations of Montpellier and Nîmes as well as many of the region’s competitiveness centres and clusters.

On 1 September, nearly 130 problem case studies were therefore offered to 536 final year dual training Master’s students from Montpellier Business School and their PHD tutors. All the selected companies represent a total of 13,200 jobs and 1.3 billion of total turnover. "From the ideas and feedback from businesses and students alike, we have learned the lessons of previous editions, notably regarding the time allocated to the project, as this year, students will present their projects in January 2016. Their welcome is always so positive, as they are the first to benefit from this success and can actually choose issues according to their academic affinities, but especially according to their target and their sector. This year again, we note the enthusiasm of students for SMEs and start-ups which is very clearly in the spirit of the times", says Professor Paul Martin, the project's coordinator. It is therefore with great motivation that all stakeholders have started working with, first of all, the deadline for a final presentation in front of the businesses in January 2016.
