End of the first semester – The Bachelor program thanks its international students that completed their first academic semester

Montpellier Business School’s Bachelor Program asked the student association World’Connexion to organize, this Friday the 11th of December, a French breakfast for all the international students. Indeed, it time for them to leave Montpellier after one semester full of experiences and discoveries.

More than 17 nationalities are represented at Montpellier Business School. The last year of Bachelor promotion that involves 120 exchange students and 149 French students, is a great environment enabling the students to share their different visions of life and work methodologies. From China to South America, some of the student kindly wanted to share with us their feeling about this semester spent at Montpellier BS.

Ngan Him Chik (22 years old – Hong Kong Polytechnic University) « This Business School is full of assets... I enjoyed studying at Montpellier Business School because the professors are passionate about what they teach. I will always remember Beverly Leligois, who teaches a class specialized in ethics and behaviour in multicultural environments. I also improved my French skills thanks to the French as a Foreign Language class, even if I still have difficulties. I am sad to leave France already. »

Sangmi Kim, joins the conversation. She comes from Hanyang University – South Korea: « I don’t want to go and I will try to stay until next February. I felt in love with France, I came to study here because it is a really romantic country. People are so kind, especially in a human-size such as Montpellier. »

Maria Fernanda Perez Mendes, 22 years old, University of León in Mexico, is not going back home yet. She stays the whole year to complete a double diploma. « I came to say goodbye to my friends who do not have the chance to stay more. I chose Montpellier Business School to complete my double-diploma. It is an opportunity that I couldn’t let go and it will enable me to work in Europe », she explains. « Holding a French diploma is highly valuable in Mexico, if everything goes well, I will get my double diploma in Mai ».

Oro Alvarez Alonso, 22 years old, Valparaiso University in Chile. « I am happy that I came at Montpellier BS because it is a cosmopolitan school. There are a lot of international students here. I can meet them, learn from their culture and especially learn about France. Es como una Familia, me siento en casa », he concludes in his mother language.

After their departure, one hundred other international students will experience the same journey at Montpellier BS. They will also write their story, in their own ways.
