At Montpellier Business School, managerial innovation goes hand-in-hand with pedagogical innovation : the new tricontinental Master of Science (MSC) in Global Business just received an accreditation from the Grandes Ecoles Conference (GEC)

Founded in 1973, the Grandes Ecoles Conference brings together all the French and International higher education and research institutions who train their graduates in a constant search for excellence, in a way that fits with the corporate world, the actors of the economy and the civil society. It aims at stimulating and coordinating discussions about teaching methods, pedagogy and research, with the perspective to improve social welfare and sustainable development. It therefore only accredits excellent training programmes.

The Accreditation Commission of the Grandes Ecoles Conference, accredited, on January the 21st 2016, the new MSc Global Business Tri-continental of Montpellier Business School (MBS).

This Master of Science is a highly innovative program that connects Montpellier Business School’s performances to two prestigious foreign universities in the world: one in Canada - University of Victoria, AACSB and EQUIS accredited / EFMD - and another one in South Korea - Sung Kyun Kwan University (SKKU) AACSB accredited - to train each year students from all around the world. This international programme taught in English meets global companies’ need as they are more and more looking for international and multicultural skilled managers.

« We are pleased and proud to have been able to create this « great programme » which is perfectly in line with our policy of managerial innovation, pedagogical innovation and our values of openness, accountability, diversity and global performance. It is the first time that a tri-continental “Global Business” MSc is created. It is the result of the cooperation of 3 Universities in 3 continents: the Gustavson School of Business of the University of Victoria (Canada) and the School of Business of the Sung Kyun Kwan University. It is open to students of all nationalities in their first year of Master’s or to students who hold a Bachelor’s degree, seeking to develop operational skills and a multicultural mind-set, that is why it operates on 3 continents. The students spend 3 months on each continent and in each school, they also end the programme with a 4 to 6-months internship in a company in any country in the world, » says Didier Jourdan, Director General of Montpellier BS.

« Recruited by each institution in accordance with the selection procedures and quality standards of MBS (AACSB and EFMD accredited), the students start the first quarter of the programme in August at the University of Victoria (Canada), followed by a second quarter, on the campus of Montpellier Business School, from November and finally, a last quarter of teaching in Seoul from March. An international working experience from 4 to 6 months ends this program and it already convinced many companies and students, » says Pascal Krupka, Development Director of Montpellier Business School programs.
